This fence was put up when Snickers (Charlie and Patty's dog) was recuperating here, after being hit by a truck on the day they moved out of their house in San Marcos, in 1997. Her pelvis was broken in the accident, and survival was in doubt, but Helen nursed her back to a full recovery (YAY!!) while Charlie and family were living in an apartment (no pets allowed). She came home after they bought their house in Encinitas. Thanks Helen!
